Virgin Airlines has introduced its new V Australia flights, but a flight on the new airline will come with a price.
The company has introduced a tariff for both eastbound and westbound trips between Los Angeles, Calif. and Sydney, which will also affect travelers going across the Pacific en route to Hong Kong or London.
Virgin Atlantic flies to London and Los Angeles, where passengers will have to switch to V Australia flights in order to reach Sydney or Hong Kong, or vice versa.
Despite the new tariffs, Sir Richard Branson, president of Virgin Atlantic, said: “The combination of Virgin Atlantic and V Australia offers travellers huge flexibility in their global planning and some of the best value round the world fares available.”
