REI Men’s Jove Jacket

This is a sturdy jacket has a generous polyester fiber lining that I really put to the test, when I wore it on a trip to Northern Michigan at the beginning of winter. It’s waterproof, breathable and has some nice stretch to it, and the pilot blue and black colors look cool too. Another feature of this coat that I like is the adjustable hood that has a thick lining as well as a visor that helps keep snow at bay.

REI Elements rated shell features a stretch woven polyester that provides waterproof breathable protection, and is windproof to 60+ MPH. The coat provides excellent mobility, while adding ample all-conditions warmth, adjustable hood, hem drawcord and front zip stormflap bolster coverage; front zip is topped by a chin guard. Pit zips allow ventilation adjustment. My only small complaint is that when you zip this coat up all the way, it cuts into your neck a bit. Maybe I just have a big neck. REI Jove jacket, $229
